We Flung Money at It, But No Job Done: Checkatrade Fiasco.
My rundown with Checkatrade was a complete shambles. I booked a trader through their service to complete some crucial home repairs. They appeared legitimate at first, but it ended up a horrendous ordeal.
Even though I transferred the full amount upfront, the work never started. Getting a response ceased. It's been months, and I'm still left with unfinished repairs.
The platform itself has been unhelpful throughout this whole process. They offered no solutions. It feels like I've been taken advantage of.
